The length of stay for a Socio-Cultural Visa is 60 days, and can be extended in Indonesia.

Other than the required documentation below, applicants over the age 60 must also provide travel insurance and documents to verify their pension/income.

Applicants must provide the following documents:

• An application form, completed and signed, one passport size photograph attached.
• A passport with a validity date at least 6 months beyond the date of entry into Indonesia.
• A copy of applicants return ticket or booking order (boekingsbewijs) from a travel agent.
• An invitation letter from an institution in Indonesia with his/her ID (KTP) attached or
• An invitation letter from applicants family member or friend in Indonesia with his/her ID (KTP) attached.
